KISMETCE
THE ART OF CANDLE CARE
FIRST BURN
The first burn sets the foundation for the life of your candle. On its first use, allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface before extinguishing the flame. This considered ritual encourages a smooth, balanced burn throughout the life of the candle.
WICK CARE
Before each use, gently trim the wicks to approximately 5 mm. Maintaining the ideal wick length encourages an even flame, helps minimise soot, and preserves the candle’s refined burning quality.
BURNING
For an elegant and even burn, place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts and direct sources of heat. Whenever possible, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during each use.
For optimal performance, we recommend burning your candle for no longer than four hours at a time.
EXTINGUISHING
Extinguish the flame gently and allow the wax to cool completely before moving or relighting the candle. Never use water to extinguish the flame, as sudden changes in temperature may compromise the integrity of the crystal glass.
CRYSTAL GLASS CARE
To preserve the exceptional clarity and brilliance of the crystal glass, allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Once the candle has been fully enjoyed, gently hand wash the crystal glass vessel using lukewarm water, a mild cleansing agent, and a soft cloth or sponge.
Avoid abrasive materials, harsh chemical cleaners, and sudden changes in temperature.
SAFETY
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, flammable materials, and drafts. Do not move the candle while lit or while the wax remains liquid.
To help protect the crystal glass from excessive heat, discontinue use when approximately 1 cm of wax remains at the base.
AFTER THE FINAL BURN
Once your candle has reached the end of its burn, the crystal glass vessel may be carefully cleaned and repurposed as a decorative object. In this way, the elegance of KISMETCE continues to become part of your space, long after the final flame.
