KISMETCE
THE ART OF LAMP CARE
GENERAL CARE
The KISMETCE lamp is a distinctive design piece where the unique character of natural marble, the warm radiance of brass, and the refined texture of fabric come together in timeless harmony. Thoughtful and gentle care is recommended to preserve the individual beauty of each material and the enduring elegance of the piece as a whole.
MARBLE BASE
Natural variations in veining, tone, and texture make every marble base entirely unique. Clean gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and, when necessary, a pH-neutral cleanser suitable for natural stone, then dry immediately with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid contact with perfume, alcohol, oils, acidic substances, and harsh chemicals. These natural variations are not imperfections, but distinctive expressions of the stone’s authentic character.
BRASS DETAILS
To preserve the characteristic warmth and lustre of the brass, gently wipe the surface with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, perfume, alcohol, acidic substances, and abrasive cleaning products. Over time, subtle tonal variations and a natural patina may develop, lending the brass a beautifully evolving character unique to each piece.
FABRIC SHADE
To preserve the refined texture and sculptural form of the fabric shade, gently remove dust with a soft, dry cloth or a delicate dusting tool. Do not apply water, cleaning sprays, perfume, or chemical products directly to the fabric. Should staining occur, avoid rubbing the surface; professional cleaning appropriate to the specific fabric is recommended.
LIGHT & HEAT
To preserve the beauty and integrity of its materials, keep the lamp away from excessive humidity, prolonged direct sunlight, and intense heat sources. Always use a bulb compatible with the specifications of the lamp and never exceed the recommended maximum wattage.
TIMELESS CHARACTER
The distinctive veining of natural marble, the graceful patina that brass may acquire over time, and the subtle texture of the fabric give each KISMETCE lamp a character entirely its own. These natural nuances are not imperfections, but expressions of authentic materials, refined craftsmanship, and the singular beauty of each piece.
