KISMETCE
THE ART OF BRASS CARE
USE
KISMETCE brass objects bring together the warm radiance of a timeless material with refined craftsmanship and a distinctive design sensibility. Thoughtful handling is recommended to preserve the characteristic lustre, texture, and enduring beauty of each piece.
CONTACT
Brass surfaces may be sensitive to moisture, perfume, alcohol, oils, acidic substances, and harsh chemicals. To preserve the integrity and beauty of the finish, avoid prolonged or direct contact with such substances. Should contact occur, gently clean and dry the surface without delay.
HEAT
To maintain the refined character and natural lustre of the brass, keep pieces away from direct heat sources and extreme temperatures. Avoid placing very hot objects directly on brass surfaces.
CLEANING
For everyday care, gently wipe each piece with a clean, soft, dry cloth. When necessary, a slightly damp cloth may be used, followed immediately by thorough drying. Avoid abrasive sponges, hard brushes, harsh chemical cleaners, and products that may alter the character of the finish. Brass pieces should not be placed in the dishwasher.
POLISHING
Over time, brass may naturally develop subtle variations in tone or a softer lustre. If a brighter finish is desired, use a care product specifically formulated for brass, applying it gently with a soft cloth. For lacquered, plated, or specially treated finishes, polishing products should only be used when appropriate for the specific surface treatment.
NATURAL CHARACTER
Brass is a material that acquires character beautifully over time. Subtle tonal variations and a natural patina may gradually emerge through use and exposure to its surroundings. Rather than imperfections, these evolving nuances are distinctive expressions of the material’s authentic character, lending each KISMETCE brass object a unique beauty that becomes entirely its own.
