KISMETCE
THE ART OF MARBLE CARE
USE
KISMETCE marble pieces bring together the timeless beauty of natural stone with a refined design sensibility. Distinctive veining, subtle variations in tone, and natural nuances in texture make every piece truly unique. Thoughtful handling is recommended to preserve the stone’s inherent character and elegant finish for years to come.
CONTACT
Marble is a naturally porous and delicate material. Acidic or deeply pigmented substances such as lemon, vinegar, wine, and coffee may affect the surface and should be gently removed without delay. Prolonged contact with oils, perfumes, and harsh chemical substances should also be avoided.
HEAT
To preserve the natural integrity and refined finish of the marble, avoid extreme temperature changes and direct exposure to heat sources. Hot serving pieces should not be placed directly on the marble surface; the use of a protective layer or trivet is recommended when necessary.
CLEANING
Clean marble surfaces gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a pH-neutral cleanser suitable for natural stone. Avoid abrasive sponges, hard brushes, bleach, vinegar, and acidic cleaning products. Marble pieces should not be placed in the dishwasher.
DRYING
After cleaning, do not allow water to remain on the surface. Gently dry each piece with a clean, soft cloth. This considered care helps preserve the marble’s natural texture, subtle lustre, and refined appearance over time.
NATURAL CHARACTER
Marble is a natural material that evolves gracefully with time. Subtle variations in tone and a distinctive patina may gradually emerge as part of its character. Variations in veining, colour, and texture are not imperfections, but unique expressions of the stone’s natural beauty. These individual characteristics ensure that no two KISMETCE marble pieces are ever exactly alike.
